ive been doing ridiculous amounts of calc lately. all i could think about last week was LNE LNE LNE. okay, the derivative is one dammit! i got a break and finally set up the darkroom. the problem was i didnt have a screw to secure the height adjustment so i didnt use it for a month. gah. thomas and i went to home depot and got the right screw/nut/bolt to secure the enlarger aaaand picked up some red lights. oh ho ho, 2 red lights for a mere 5 bucks? no way, seemed too good to be true. we also stopped at chapters and picked up some starbucks. in the line i officially met lucia, eunice's friend. she recognized me through eunice's livejournal. kehehe. i want some more vitamin ph. got home and set up the enlarger, mixed the chems, got out the tongs and installed the red lights. too bad the red light leaks! its not darkroom safe at all and thankfully it only fogged up one sheet of paper. we only developed 3 prints b/c it was so awkward working in a darkroom with no light. also... the enlarger is a little weird. i cant get the negative carrier to hold the negatives in place. and... the image is blurry too. shit. |
